To Talk To You, a recording by Etchells himself, comprises improvised repetitions and variations on the same sentence, addressed to the listener in the form of a series of phone messages.

Commissioned as part of  Lân fan Taal (Republic of Languages)  – an exploration and celebration of language diversity during Leeuwarden-Fryslân European Capital of Culture 2018, To Talk To You is one of three connected works (along with Hear/Höre/Hoor/Hear and Alphabets) that are grouped under the collective title In So Many Words, inaugurating the newly constructed OBE Pavilion in Leewarden.

The project In So Many Words will run from February to October 2018.
