A spiralling, comical and desperate monologue, exploring one man’s ambitions of showbiz affluence. The common-place dream of exaggerated success and wealth crumbles as the performer becomes more and more flustered, struggling to get through the text he has poorly memorised. Shot on a single camera and in endlessly repeated takes, the completed work shows Kent in a series of different locations, addressing the camera directly, moving between frustration and laughter, stumbling through the text, looping back on his lines, and making comments on his own performance.
